IRS Form 1099-G Mailing Dates
Iowa Workforce Development will begin mailing IRS Form 1099-G on Jan 22, 2018. The 1099-G includes any unemployment insurance benefits issued Jan. 1, 2017, through Dec. 28, 2017, and any federal and/or state taxes that were withheld. The Internal Revenue Service and the State Department of Revenue and Finance were also provided this information.
If you have changed your address since you last claimed benefits, please update your mailing address by calling Unemployment Insurance Customer Service at 1-866-239-0843 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you do not receive your 1099-G by Feb. 1, 2018, please call Unemployment Insurance Customer Service at 1-866-239-0843 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and request a duplicate copy be mailed to you.

The U.S. Department of Labor has certified former employees of Plastic Professions/Owner Revolution in Atlantic, for reemployment services under the Trade Act of 2015. This certification covers workers who are laid off due to lack of work on or after May 31, 2016 through November 17, 2019.
